Affiliate & Advertising Disclosure
How we earn revenue from affiliate links, how that relates to our reviews, and what you can expect as a reader.
Last updated: June 22, 2026
BizSmartTools publishes software comparisons, directory listings, guides, and free online tools. Some outbound links may be monetized. This page explains those relationships in plain language and how they interact with our editorial work. We provide this disclosure in line with U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidance on endorsements and similar transparency expectations in other regions.
Affiliate Program Participation
BizSmartTools participates in affiliate and referral programs operated by software vendors and affiliate networks. When you click certain links and later purchase a subscription, license, or service, we may receive a commission or referral fee. The vendor sets your price; using our link does not add a surcharge for you.
Affiliate revenue helps support site operations, content updates, and free tools. It does not replace our responsibility to describe products accurately and disclose commercial relationships clearly.
How We Evaluate Tools
Recommendations and comparisons are based on research and stated criteria—not on commission rates alone. When we review or compare software, we weigh factors such as:
- Features — what the product does, integrations, limits, and plan differences.
- Pricing — public plans, trials, billing terms, and typical add-on costs.
- Ease of use — onboarding, interface clarity, and time to complete common tasks.
- Support — help channels, documentation quality, and responsiveness when issues arise.
- Updates — how actively the product is maintained and whether changes are communicated clearly.
- Reputation — consistent feedback from users and practitioners, plus public track record.
- Use cases — team size, workflow fit, and when a tool is a strong or weak match.
We update pages when pricing, features, or policies change materially. For more on who we are and our broader editorial approach, see About BizSmartTools.
Editorial Independence
Editorial content on BizSmartTools is produced independently. Partnership applications, sponsorship discussions, and affiliate program enrollment do not guarantee coverage, favorable placement, or a positive review.
Commission rates and network terms do not determine which tools we recommend, how we compare them, or the order we present options. When we earn from a link, we still aim to note limitations and alternatives where they matter to readers.
Recommendation Philosophy
We prioritize usefulness and accuracy for entrepreneurs, small business owners, freelancers, creators, marketers, agencies, and startup founders. A product may appear in our content because it fits a documented use case—even if we have no affiliate relationship with that vendor.
We avoid pay-to-play rankings. If commercial visibility is involved, it is labeled or positioned so readers can distinguish it from standard editorial recommendations.
How Affiliate Links Work
Affiliate links route through BizSmartTools (including some /go/ redirect pages) to vendor or network destinations. When you click, the partner or network may store a cookie or similar identifier in your browser to attribute a qualifying purchase or signup to BizSmartTools. Those technologies are controlled by the third party, not by us.
Outbound URLs on redirect pages are checked against an allowed HTTPS domain list to reduce abusive redirects. After you leave our site, the destination's terms and privacy practices apply. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle site analytics and cookies.
No Extra Cost to Users
Affiliate links do not increase the price you pay for a product or service. Checkout pricing, taxes, and billing are determined by the vendor. Partners may sometimes offer promotions or trials, but availability and terms are set by the provider, not BizSmartTools.
Sponsored Content Policy
From time to time we may publish sponsored placements, paid listings, or other advertising. When we do, we aim to make the commercial relationship clear through labeling, placement, or adjacent disclosure text.
Sponsored visibility does not mean a product is the right choice for every reader. Sponsored content still must meet our relevance and transparency standards and is kept separate from independent research-based comparisons where feasible.
Not Every Recommendation Is an Affiliate Relationship
We link to many tools and resources. Some links are affiliate or referral links; others are standard references with no commission. The presence of a link alone does not indicate an affiliate relationship—context and on-page disclosure should make commercial links identifiable.
If we do not have an affiliate relationship with a product we mention, we do not earn from your purchase through our links to that product.
Affiliate Categories We Cover
Affiliate links may appear across content types and categories, including:
- AI tools
- SEO tools
- Business and productivity software
- Marketing tools
- Website builders
- Hosting platforms
- Automation tools
- Related SaaS products referenced in comparisons and guides
Category coverage can expand as we publish new guides. Individual pages may note when a specific link is monetized.
Questions About Affiliate Relationships
If you are unsure whether a link is affiliate, whether a placement is sponsored, or how we evaluated a product, contact us. We will clarify the relationship when we can and correct disclosure gaps when they are brought to our attention.
Vendors and networks may also ask us to confirm program participation or update tracking links; those requests are handled separately from editorial scoring and comparisons.
Contact Information
For affiliate, sponsorship, or disclosure questions, email admin@bizsmarttools.com or use our contact page. Editorial standards and correction requests are handled by the BizSmartTools Editorial Team. Include the page URL and the product or link in question so we can respond accurately.
